Parting Shots

Beginning of the hike.

This video indicates the extreme damage done to the forests of the gorge by the fires of 2007.



Roughly, this was the route of our hike. The blue line was the hike down into the gorge along the Pinch In Trail. The red line indicates the retracing of the route back up Pinch In then a cross country bushwhack to where we picked up the Rock Jock Trail to where it intersected with the Conley Cove Trail and then to the parking lot where we picked up Jack's truck and drove back to my truck at the Pinch In parking lot. (Whew! What a hike!)
