The thought of splitting off another blog or two to cover one subject exclusively has occurred to me, but I didn't really want to do that. Why split up what there is of my small audience?
Also, I have to admit that I started the blog as an exercise to keep me writing during those times when I might have writers block and couldn't produce any fiction. I figured that working on musings about my hobbies and day-to-day life would get the creative juices flowing and out would come some high-quality fiction. And this proved to be true. Often I would turn out my blog and then move smoothly on to working a novel or short story.
Thus, I let the blog be just about anything it wanted to be. One day about my latest trip to find solitude in the wilderness. The next about the goat farm I visited outside town. Or something funny that happened at work. And then on again to talk about my travel trailer and getting it ready for another camping trip.
I think I'll keep it moving along those lines, and working on it will keep my fingers ready to work on my latest novel.
