Cover Pitch
Mark Masztal did this as a pitch for my zombie novel, THE LIVING END. We're shopping around an illustrated version. I'll post the finished art when Mark completes it.
Glad to see you picked this font. It has a 1970's Doubleday feel to me. I think one of the original Stephen King books used this font, maybe Firestarter or at least something similar. I start transfer the rough to the nice paper, laying in pencil lines only, no shading. All of the shading will be achieved by grey washes and then I scan it and colorize it using Photoshop. I have an idea of what I want the color palette to be, but it may change.

Looking forward to the color version. I forwarded the roughs to the editor.
BTW, the ink washes are looking spectacular. Will be done by Monday.
Send as soon as you're done! I'll forward it to my agent!
