Almost Home
I'm posting this from a free WiFi spot on the way home. Should be back mid-day Sunday. The wonders of the Internet never fail to amaze me.
We had a pretty good time exploring a part of the country where neither of us had ever been. The main purpose of the trip was to see the huge fresh water springs and canoe the Current River. But we made some other side trips, too. Will begin posting later in the week concerning these spots.
This is not a set from Peter Jackson's KING KONG. It is, in fact, a place called "The Grand Gulf" in extreme southern Missouri not far from the Arkansas border. This may have been my favorite place, visually, on our trip.
