Train Depot
Usually I'm busy taking photographs of mountains, trees, rivers, waterfalls, and wildlife. However, sometimes I'll happen upon a really neat building that I have to photograph. Such was the case on the way back from Swallow Falls State Park. Carole and I saw a truly impressive train depot that has been converted into a museum. You can see how important this place was when it was the center of commerce for the town of Oakland, MD back in the day. Truly an impressive building in every way. It was closed, so we couldn't go inside, but I plan on seeing it again and touring the interior.
