Heading Home

Garrett Marks has my new website up and running. We'll be making changes as the days pass. But for now it's established and looking a heck of a lot better than my old cobbled together author's page. You can see it here.

Just now we're using the WiFi connection at the Salt Lake City airport, waiting for our flight. We'll be home in a few hours. What a great trip, though! We hate to leave the west, but we'll be back as soon as we can. Yellowstone is too great a place to miss.

I took this self-portrait at the top of Avalanche Peak in Yellowstone. This was the best hike I took the entire time I was in the Park. The views were fantastic. I'll post details about this great hike when we get back home.

This is the view I had of Hoyt Peak from the top of Avalanche. I was going to bag Hoyt, also, but I ran out of time and a thunderstorm was approaching the high country, so I had to head below treeline.

It was fantastic. I can't wait to go back. I want to hike in the high country around Lamar Valley!
