Wilson Creek: Work (?!) and Play.
A few years back I needed some peace and quite to finish a novel. So I hooked up the travel trailer and headed to the Mortimer Campground, run by the National Forest Service at the Wilson Creek National Wild & Scenic River near Linville Gorge. I found my peace and quiet and I even found time to wander around the forests to explore trails and to see waterfalls and deep forests. I had such a good time in there that I hooked up the trailer the following weekend and took Carole to see the place. She enjoyed Wilson Creek as much as I did.
With the rig at the entrance to the Mortimer Campground.
