Home!

Well, we're home from Peaks of Otter Lodge.

We had a good, relaxing trip. I got in a couple of hikes...one really nice one. More tomorrow after we've recovered from the drive back.

The view from above Cross Rock on Flat Top Mountain. The big mountain in the background center is Apple Orchard Mountain, the highest peak in that area of Virginia and one of the "tallest" mountains in the state--that is, one which shows a high level of relief from base to summit.
