Here are some sandhill cranes we saw today, and a grizzly bear sleeping on the banks of the Lamar River in Lamar Valley yesterday. I took the griz photo from a great distance with a telephoto lens. As close as I wish to get to one of those critters.
I was lucky that I spotted this pair as we were driving. Far out in a meadow.
No, he wasn't dead. Just napping along the river bank. He was really sacked out!
