The Cascades

This past Sunday, after we'd walked around the acreage where we hope to build our cabin, we headed over to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Along the drive, we stopped at the EB Jeffers Park where there's a short trail leading down to a waterfall. The hike is quite easy and only takes about thirty minutes, round trip. While searching out waterfalls isn't the main reason I go hiking, it's always good to find a waterfall I've never seen. And there's something especially soothing about watching and listening to a waterfall.
